I had Sooooooooooo much fun sculpting this. It's been probably 20 years since I've sculpted anything of note.
I think this has re-ignited my love of sculpting!
here's
a progression of the sculpture page and a few alternate angles.
Please Please tell me what you think!

This is stunning! If you dont get into the top 3 i'm eating my socks :)
now who do we know with a Alice fixation...?
clearly a huge amount of inspired work - and the result is an utterly superb production! glad you've rediscovered your 3D thrills - looking forward to more of your high-end serious sculpy soon :)
Unbelievable. I am going to try using wire instead of paper and tape for my armature next time. Your craftsmanship is excellent. I like how you did his teeth and hair. What kind of clay did you use and is he painted with acrylics? Do not wait another 20 years to sculpt again. :)
I think this is perfection.
I. LOVE. IT!!!!
Jeeeeze who let's this crap into contests! ;)
Seriously though, I'm not sure which is stronger, your painting or sculpting skills. You should do more of each so I can make a accurate comparison. :)
They both came together beautifully in this entry.
let me guess who did this...John? Awesome work, love the great detail, texture and colors. The trick or Tea is a nice touch and his expression and stance are perfect. Well done, had to give you a 10...at least!
